  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  • In a separate medium bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake the brownies for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Cut the brownies into squares and serve. Enjoy!
