Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 lemons, zested and juiced
- 2 teaspoons of coarsely ground black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or large zip-top bag, and pour the marinade over them. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to a few hours in the refrigerator.
- When the grill is ready, lightly oil the grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Serve the grilled lemon pepper chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as grilled vegetables or a simple salad. Enjoy!
